  • Covid related information:

    • Due to a federal mandate regarding public transportation, masks will be required on buses.

    • Per the local health department

      • Masks are highly recommended in school; they are currently not mandatory but could become mandatory per MDHHS if local numbers go above a certain threshold.

      • Vaccines are encouraged for ages 12 and up; while they do not prevent you from contracting the virus, they are key to helping keep people from having severe symptoms of the virus.

      • If your child has any symptoms of the Covid virus, please get them tested.

      • If a student becomes infected, we will do contact tracing and work with the health department to notify those affected.

      • We will continue to track numbers and are required by law to continue adding any new cases; these will be available through a Covid link on our website.

  • Supplies: Burr Oak Community Schools provides all school supplies that relate to learning. If you would like to donate things to a classroom, teachers will send home a wish list with your child in the first few weeks of school.

  • High School Students Ms. Smith has made many phone calls to HS students with no returned calls. Please return calls to get your schedule set.

  • Chromebooks High School - If you have not picked up your Chromebook, please do so before the first day of school (Monday, August 23).

  • Chromebooks Middle School - We are issuing new Chromebooks, so even though you are not taking them home, it would be helpful if you came in during the pick up times to have your Chromebook assigned to you. MS Chromebooks will stay at school unless a teacher determines that a student needs to do work at home.
